26-1070: Complete Required Cultural Humility and Competency Training by December 31

Required training and attestation support compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual and accreditation requirements

Physicians, practitioners, other healthcare providers, applicable staff, subcontractors and downstream subcontractors must complete the Cultural Humility, Competency and Equity in Healthcare training and submit an attestation by December 31, 2026. We encourage you to complete the training and submit your attestation as soon as possible to avoid year-end scheduling conflicts.

Additional requirements
  • New hire requirement: New hires must complete the training within 90 days of their start date and as required thereafter.
  • Record retention: Maintain training completion and attestation records for audit and compliance review.

How to view the training and attest to completing it

  2. Submit your attestation at https://rebrand.ly/CulturalHumiltyCompetencyEquity.
  3. If you completed another plan’s training
    If you completed the training with another health plan, submit attestation at https://rebrand.ly/HN-Cultural-Humility-Training. Completion will be shared across applicable plans.

Provider responsibilities for compliance

Independent practice associations, physicians, other providers and affiliated organizations must:

  • Verify that all direct patient care providers complete the training.
  • Track completion and collect attestations for group or onsite sessions.
  • Maintain records for audits and compliance verification.
